The Greater Bragg Creek Trails Association’s second annual fundraiser, Tunes for Trails, will take place Saturday, April 27th, at the Bragg Creek Community Centre. A silent and public auction is planned, along with great tunes from Skuzzy and the Woodticks. There will be a snack at midnight.
Tickets are $25, and are available in Bragg Creek from the Best Little Wordhouse in the West at: 403-949-4995. Or, you can purchase on-line through PayPal (with your PayPal account or credit card) via the GBCTA Ski website at www.braggcreekski.org. This event sold out quickly in 2012, and tickets are expected to go quickly.
The ski trails are generally in good condition. The tracks were laid in on Tuesday, March 5, and another one to two inches fell after tracksetting. Still a little thin in places, so the tracks were not renovated and reset after the light snowfall.
