Skrastins Outdoor Club, a seniors' outdoor club for over 55's, was founded in 1979 by Bill Skrastins. He established three seniors' outdoors clubs during the 1970's, the M&M's, Second Sixties and the club that bears his name.

I was asked recently by the Alberta Hiking Association what my favourite hike was along the Waskahegan Trail. There are many enjoyable hikes that are diverse in nature and experience, so of course choosing just one is difficult to discern. For me personally, I am always humored when the features of private farm lands meet wetlands or uplands.

With the recent news on the Tent Mountain mine proposal, it's worth sharing the letter the AHA wrote a letter to the federal Minister of the Environment back in April 2020 which details the AHA's concerns about the proposed coal mine.
The AHA sent a letter to Jason Nixon, Minister of Environment and Parks, in response to the Trails Act on November 16, 2021. You can read the letter here.
