The Greater Bragg Creek Trails Association and volunteers announce that some of the trails, damaged or destroyed by last year’s floods, have been re-opened.

1. The Banded Peak Trail connector from Alder Loop in the Bragg Creek Provincial Park to the Banded Peak school is now open. The GBCTA thanks the staff and students at the school for their help in this.
2. The GBCTA continues to work with Alberta Transportation in the re-routing of the Centennial Trail. The Association expects to finalize the new route through the provincial park by the end of this summer.
3. The Redwood committee of the Association is working to restore the Redwood Trail.
4. X-C ski trails such as the East and West Crystal Line trail, Sundog and East Telephone trail are being improved by the Association’s volunteers.

The GBCTA continues to host and organize volunteers to work on trail maintenance. Dates are: 23 August,; 6,13 and 27 September. For more information visit braggcreektrails.org.
