Alberta Environment and Parks has online surveys available regarding plans for the North Saskatchewan Region and the Livingstone-Porcupine Hills.

Please provide comments to the government on your wishes for these areas. This is your chance to let the government know about your wishes to improve hiking opportunities in the North Saskatchewan region, including the Bighorn Backcountry, and in the Livingstone-Porcupine Hills.

You can use AHA’s letter to the Minister (elsewhere on this site) to give you some ideas about the issues. You can also recommend or support other areas in the North Saskatchewan Region that could be designed as parks and recreation areas. The advisory council report for the North Saskatchewan region and the survey are available at https://extranet.gov.ab.ca/opinio6//s?s=39582. This survey is available until May 4, 2018.

Background information and input opportunities for the Livingstone-Porcupine Hills area are available at https://talkaep.alberta.ca/livingstone-porcupine-hills-footprint-and-recreation-planning. Deadline for responses is April 26, 2018, at 4 p.m.
