Have you ever wondered if recreational use of public land is managed differently, and perhaps better, in places other than Alberta? Do you believe that the law is a factor in such differences? The Environmental Law Centre has released its final report that compares Alberta’s legal framework for managing recreation with those of some other Canadian provinces, the US federal system and some American states. The report considers options including a “trails act” that the Alberta government might consider.
