On 10 May 2012, Premier Alison Redford was the guest on the Calgary CBC radio "Alberta at Noon" show when she took telephone calls and responded to emails on a variety of topics. Of interest to the AHA were those questions dealing with the combining of two government departments, Environment and Sustainable Resource Development and her response to a query sent by email by one of the AHA directors, Maurice Gaucher, concerning plans to allow logging in West Bragg Creek that would destroy parts of the trail.
