“Fireguards and Human Wildlife Coexistence” will be presented by Mr. John Paczkowski, a Conservation Researcher with Alberta Parks in Kananaskis Country.  As many of you know, the Town of Canmore has seen significant new fireguard clearing in the vicinity which will have notable impacts on both wildlife and human use.  Ongoing efforts to reduce the impacts of forest fires on communities and infrastructure continue in Alberta.  Learn more about these measures, the planning that goes into them and expected results.  There will be an opportunity to ask questions.
