A web editor means a more dynamic website

At the recent meeting of the Board of Directors immediately preceding the Annual General Meeting in Calgary on 12 May 2012, a discussion around improving both communication with our membership and the public at large, and making our website more dynamic led to the creation of a web editor position. This position is filled by one of your volunteer Directors whose job it now is to be the intermediary between the Board of Directors, association members and our webmaster, Marc Pinel. The web editor, then, is the single window for all information that is to be posted on the AHA website. The web editor will also ensure that, when possible, there is follow-up information to any news items or discussion previously posted on the site. Let's make this website the place to learn about issues that relate directly to the hiking fraternity.
